Our booking policy is designed to protect not only our business and in turn, our affordability, but also to keep things fair for all clients. No-shows and last minute cancellations enormously disadvantage our business. They also mean that other clients cannot book those time slots with us. Our salon is extremely busy and we try to keep waiting lists to a minimum. If a client fails to attend their appointment, we end up with a vacant slot that we could have offered to another client. The deposit is taken to discourage last minute cancellations/changes.
We strive to keep our prices reasonable which is affordable to all clients. In order to do so, we run all aspects of our salon as efficiently as possible. If a client does not attend for a booked appointment we have a therapist and treatment room standing empty. These costs still have to be paid regardless and are added to our overheads. The deposit helps cover the salon costs if a client fails to attend.
Therefore we hope that you will appreciate that introduction of our new Booking Policy.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings by debit/credit card. The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.
This deposit will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable should you cancel within 24 hours for your appointment.
We understand that sometimes you may need to change your booking. We kindly request 24 hours notice so that we can offer that time slot to another client. If you cancel your appointment with the 24 hour period, your deposit will be held for your next booking, or refunded. However, if you do not provide us with 24 hours notice or you fail to turn up for your appointment, you may send a friend or family member in your place, or your deposit will be forfeited.
Regrettably, we have had to put these measures in place because of the sheer volume of non-arrivals we have had, which in turn costs the salon hundreds of pounds per month.
Our cancellation policy is strictly 24hrs for all clients. If we do not receive 24hrs notice to cancel your appointment then unfortunately, your deposit is non-refundable. We completely understand that things can happen at the last minute and can assure you that we will be sympathetic in certain circumstances. We cannot accept messages left on Sundays or public holidays as sufficient notice, as we will not have enough time to try to rebook your time slot.
If you can not make an appointment or need to reschedule this can be done up to 24 hours before your appointment either by your booking confirmation email or by calling the salon on 01737 355 050.
You will recieve an email to confirm cancellation or rescheduling as appropriate.
When booking online you will receive an email confirmation, 24 hours before your appointment you will receive a text SMS reminder*.
*If you do not receive any confirmation, your appointment is not booked.
SMS texts should not be relied upon as networks are sometimes unreliable.
Your appointment is not secure until your deposit is paid.
Booking an appointment is acknowledgement of this booking policy.
